Around a hundred children marched through central Athens on Sunday in a show of solidarity for Palestinian children injured or killed in the Israeli attacks on Gaza. Youths aged from four to 14 shouted protests and held banners against the Israeli offensive.
One called for Palestinian children to be able to live free from the risk of violence.
The organizers said that recent protests including adults had been broken up with tear gas - Sunday's demonstration was therefore only for children.
Tens of thousands of people demonstrated in cities across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East over the weekend.
In central London, three officers were hurt when demonstrators hurled shoes and placards at police outside the Israeli Embassy.
Israeli troops made their deepest advance into the Gaza Strip's most heavily populated area with little regard for the civilians.
Israel however warned Gaza's 1.4 million residents that it planned to escalate a devastating air and ground assault that already has killed more than 800 Palestinians.
