(Ebru News/AP) One of the biggest Turkish charity organizations, "Is Anybody There", continues to reach out to the needy students in the Southeastern part of Turkiye. Acting as a bridge between Turkish charity donors and those in need all over the world, the organization is now building a school for the children in Hakkari where people suffered from terrorism for many years.
After having built two schools in the southeastern part of Turkiye, a region that is hit by terrorist attacks, this time the organization announced they would initiate the construction of a village school for the students who travel almost 2 miles every morning to get to the nearest school in another neighboring village.
There are 60 students in this village but there is no school. Fighting with many hardships of life, these children have to walk a few miles to go to the nearest school. And winter is yet to come.
Having no school in their own village is not the only problem of these children. In the neighboring village's school, these children get their education in a small school which is already packed up by 200 other students.
Knowing the source of terror that flourish among uneducated people, the delegation of the organization, "Is Anybody There", is determined to open a new school for the students of this village.
The delegation said that the organization, supported by volunteers and charitable persons, will continue to reach many people in the regions throughout the nation, spreading the spirit of friendship by putting smiles on faces and hope in hearts.
