Col. Mauricio Tobar is chief of anti-narcotics agents in western Guayas province.

He said Friday that officers discovered the cocaine lab on a farm in the town of Lomas de Sargentillo. Agents arrested six suspects and seized chemicals for processing cocaine.

Tobar did not say exactly when the raid took place. It is the sixth drug lab busted in Ecuador this year.
