Friendship Dinner Emphasizes Cultural Dialogue
Diplomats, academics and other prominent guests came together to discuss the importance of inter-cultural dialogue at the annual Friendship Dinner organized by Boston's Turkish Cultural Center.

Diplomats, academics and other prominent guests came together to discuss the importance of inter-cultural dialogue at the annual Friendship Dinner organized by Boston's Turkish Cultural Center.

In his welcoming speech, the President of  the Turkish Cultural Center in Boston, Servet Tatli, underlined the importance of different cultures gathering together for a dialogue and said his organization has promoted global peace through several activities.

Edward Demore, co-founder and CEO of the Boston Digital Bridge Foundation,
gave the audience a glimpse of his recent  trip to Turkiye organized by the Turkish Cultural Center. He told the audience that he was amazed by the hospitality and solidarity of the Turkish people and said the trip was a remarkable life changing experience.

The TCC honored Jack Brennan, an attorney and former Massachusetts senior legislator,  with a Peace and Dialogue Award, for his untiring efforts towards peace and community service.

Ebru TV, the main sponsor of the dinner,  received an appreciation award for its generous support for such  gatherings.

Thomas Steel, the Vice President of RCN in Boston, thanked the TCC for giving him an opportunity to mingle with people from different backgrounds. He  added  that RCN is very excited to get Ebru TV in their line-up and congratulated the station for its recent Emmy awards.

Consul Generals from several different countries also emphasized the importance of these types gatherings and said the Friendship Dinner enables them to learn more about other countries and particularly to gain insight into Turkiye.

Guests participating in the dinner thanked TCC in Boston for hosting the event and Ebru tv for covering events  that  show the connections between people from different cultures and offer hope for the future.
